Ok so I’ve been truly trying to keep my mind positive and on the right track but to be honest I’m worried……….
Four months ago I was working at The Beer Store and I thought I would be there for the rest of my life. Now I can’t work there (or any other labor job) physically. I’m going to college and after college I plan on starting my own business. HUGE change in mine and my families lives.
I’ve been given a phone number for a service at Algonquin College (The college I will be attending) called the Experienced Worker Centre. It will help me work through these issues I am having (Hopefully) by way of counselling and helping me fill out the proper forms for O.S.A.P and Second Career (A retraining program for people who are on unemployment). They will also help me figure out everything that will be needed for the course I will be taking. And even that did I pick the right course?
All these things are weighing on my mind. I know I can do whatever I put my mind to but have I made the right decisions for my family. Somedays I just want to find a little job and fade into obscurity but what good would that do anybody including me. I love my ladies and I only want to do right by them.
So while my mind is conflicted it is still positive. I know I can do it. It’s just is “It” the right choice???
